Unable to open the attachments in email

Warning: Disable this could potentially be a virus. Do this in your own risk.
By default, the email clients block attachment files (such as .bat, .exe, .com, .vbs, .mdb, .zip, etc)
If you are sure that the attachment is safe to download or open. Make sure you have Anti-Virus software installed. Follow the instructions below. After you've opened the attachments, enable it to block attachments for future virus.

Outlook Express

  1. Open Outlook Express
  2. Click Tools menu and select Options...
  3. Select Security tab
  4. Uncheck box "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus."
  5. Click OK
